The Anticipation of the King

Pastor Tony continues the Advent series by exploring the second coming of Christ and the call to “live in anticipation of the King”. Drawing from Titus 2, Pastor Tony defines this biblical anticipation as “living with hope and urgency today because the King is certainly coming again”. The message focuses on two key instructions for the church: first, remembering who the King is—the gracious, transforming, and returning King—and second, living like the King is returning by pursuing lives characterized by hope, holiness, and boldness. This anticipation is not meant to bring anxiety, but the pure joy of awaiting the reunification of the Bride (the church) with Christ, the Bridegroom.
