Sunday - Day 1

Read John 12:12-19

When the people shouted, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord,” the were quoting from Psalm 118:26. This was an example of a prophecy from the Old Testament.

Ask:
1. Look at Isaiah 9:6-7 and Micah 5:2. What are some other things that were talked about in the Old Testament that Jesus fulfilled in the New Testament?
2. Why do you think the religious leaders were so jealous of Jesus?

Monday - Day 2

Read Mark 11:15-18

Ask:
1. Why do you think Jesus turned over the tables of the ones who were changing the money?
2. Are there any places in our hearts where Jesus needs to clean house?
3. Pray and tell Jesus that you’re sorry for those things that you’ve done that are wrong and ask him to forgive you.

Tuesday - Day 3

Read Matthew 22:1-14

Ask:
1. What is the best banquet or party you have ever been to? Why was it so great?
2. Jesus has invited you to the heavenly banquet of the kingdom of God. Have you said “Yes” to that invitation?

If not, today could be your day! You can ask Jesus to forgive your sins and be your savior.

Wednesday - Day 4

Read Mark 12:13-17

Ask:
1. If you could ask Jesus any question, what would it be?
2. What are some things about Jesus that you find amazing?

Thursday - Day 5

Read:
Go back to the book of Exodus and look through chapters 7-11.

Ask:
1. What were the ten plagues that God sent into Egypt?
2. What are some ways that the passover from the Old Testament points to Jesus?

Friday - Day 6

Read John 19:1-37

The death of Jesus is very hard to think about. It’s something that makes us sad. Yet, that Friday is called Good Friday.

Why do you think that is?

How does it make you feel to know that Jesus died for your sins?

Today would be a good time to thank Him for dying and paying the price for your sin.

Saturday - Day 7

Read Isaiah 53 and Matthew 26:17-30

Ask:
1. When Jesus offered the unleavened bread to the disciples, why do you think he broke it?
2. Jesus had died and his body was left in the tomb. What are some feelings the followers of Jesus might have experienced?

Easter Sunday - Day 8

Think about the events of this week. Go back and review what happened. What’s the most amazing thing you find about Easter and the whole week before it?

Read Matthew 28:1-10

Ask:
1. The Easter Story is the best news ever. Who is someone you can share the Easter Story with?
2. Take a few minutes to pray for those who don’t yet know the true Easter Story that Jesus has risen!
